Visiting the Shetland Woollen Co in Hoswick on Shetland, we fell in love with their chunky, almost bestial Lupetto knits. They only sell these jumpers from their own store, and we departed with one each (which we both wear most days). Happily, we have since managed to persuade Sarah and Louise to provide us with a range to sell at Bard. The reason they are scarce is because they are still made by local Shetland knitters in their own homes, using hand frame knitting machines, before assembling the finished garments by hand.
